We are pleased to confirm that the Maldives has officially opened its borders for tourists starting July 15, 2020. Updated guidelines for safely restarting have been published. These revised guidelines will apply from August 2, 2020 onwards unless otherwise announced and revised when deemed necessary. In this blog we will keep you updated of all the developments.
The management of Carpe Diem Maldives has prepared revised SOP’s to adhere to guidelines issued by the local authorities and will inform all parties concerned accordingly of all the changes. The hopefully temporary revisions will apply to check in procedures and timings, on board services. liability releases etc. Please therefore read our FAQ page prior to joining us and prepare any documents necessary (see below) for check in in advance to avoid any issues.
In accordance to health requirements from the Maldives authorities, all travellers travelling to and from Maldives are required to submit a self-declarative health declaration within 24 hours prior to their departure.
Our boats will be ready for trips as of August onwards with a note that half charters and full charters can be confirmed immediately and for individually booked trips we need a min. of 10 to 12 people to have confirmed in order to be able to guarantee the trip. With the current uncertainly and many people still not able to or allowed to travel by their respective governments, the first month or so will probably be tough, so please bear with us. We are really looking forward to welcoming our regular guests back again and welcome new guests.
