Booking terms and Cancellation Policy

Booking conditions
In order to book, an initial deposit has to be made within 10 days of confirmation.
For bookings more than 8 months in advance:
10% refundable up to 8 months before start of trip 
20% non refundable 8 months before start of the trip
Balance non refundable 90 days before start of the trip
For bookings made within 8 months of the start of a trip:
30% non refundable
Balance non refundable 90 days before start of the trip
Cancellation policy
For cancellations 8 months and above before the start of their trip deposits are refundable. Cancellations between 8 and 3 months before the start of their trip will have a non refundable deposit of 30%. For cancellations within 90 days of commencement of the trip, 100% cancellation fee will apply. Non refundable deposits can not be forwarded to another date.
Carpe Diem MaldivesPvt. Ltd. does not offer refund nor allows transfer of bookings in the event of personal injury, airplane delay, mechanical breakdowns, weather, sickness, strikes, war, criminal acts, quarantine, acts of god, if another guest requires immediate evacuation and the vessel must return to port or any other event beyond its actual control. Guests are strongly advised to have valid dive medical, travel and cancellation insurances

Given the current uncertain situation with regards to the developments surrounding Covid-19 virus, we currently are for those who have paid their trip in full offering rescheduling within 12 months of the start of your cancelled trip, with preference of course for this year still if possible.

New bookings
For NEW bookings made as of April 2020 onwards for spaces available as of when we can start operations again onwards, we offer full refunds or transfer of dates in the event “do not travel advice” is still in place from either your government to the Maldives or Maldives for entry from your country.
Only a 10% deposit will be required for new bookings for spaces in 2020 with balance payment 60 days before start of the trip.
